Lovely little pub/hotel, 3 minutes walk from centre of Tetbury and with country walks leading from the doorstep. Decent food, good for veggies/vegans.
Lovely little old school style pub but unfortunately were turned down for lunch even though most of the people in the pub were still busy eating. No lunch times sign on the kerb to show lunch was over (apparently lunch is only 2 hours) as tourists to the area we couldn't have known this. Not great to have to sit and finish our drink starving watching others eat just to have to drive somewhere else for lunch. Food did look really tasty though
The Royal Oak is perfect! Manager, staff, food, drink, rooms and garden are all immaculate. Try the 'meat free Monday' set menu for something special too.
Popped in for a quick lunch whilst visiting the town. Good food quickly delivered. Friendly bar staff. Would recommend for lunch.
I found everyone in the Royal Oak very helpful,I'm not from the area and needed somewhere to eat before I set off back home and needed to walk my dog. They gave me great food and recommended a lovely walk to take my dog on before we set off on a long drive home. The food and service was excellent and the coffee superb. Very friendly place staff and customers.
