Been going here all my life and never had a particularly bad experience. I find making appointments easy enough (even though I work full time) and the medical staff do the very best they can with what they've got.
This surgery continuously make errors with appointments, they are late and do not apologise, they continuously muck prescriptions up monthly and make you wait days for medication that is urgently needed. They once made me wait an entire week for tablets that I need daily, so bad that I had withdrawal symptoms and had to be treated with an out of hours GP at local hospital. They do not communicate, the reception team are incompetent, they do not communicate with the pharmacy who are less than 10 feet away, and they accuse patients of lying. My daughter has suspected asthma, has been coughing so much shes almost choked, and yet here she is 5 days later still waiting for an inhaler that she was promised would be ready tomorrow after several complaints beforehand. Still not had it. Receptionist lied to my husband saying they called me to inform me it wasnt ready; no call was made and I certainly had no voicemail which she also claimed. They pass the buck and blame from pillar to post, and have no idea how to do their jobs. You wait an entire working day for a call back from a GP for them to belittle you and make you feel as though you are wasting their time, when really its because their administration and receptionists have no idea what they are doing or saying and make it up as they go along. This is peoples health they are playing around with and the surgery is an absolute shambles, I will be moving myself and my children elsewhere. Shame on you, and to think Phoenix Group had a reputable name until they took over that place. Not now.
New website says Dispensary open from 8:30am to 6:00pm. As a result of this, I left work to get there by 6pm. When I arrived after a 30 mile journey I found that it closes at 5pm even though the surgery is still open until 6pmNot good enough, either website should be correct or dispensary should be open until 6pm. Interestingly the old website was correct.
Pointless. Set to make an appointment only to have Doctor call an hour later to say how busy she was and clearly not an emergency although I never mentioned having any emergency. Rude Doctor and staff making mistakes left and right.
Miserable, rude and unhelpful staff on reception. The last place you would want to be if you were unwell. Waited over an hour with no explanation or apology.
